About The Automatic Chicken Waterers
I purchased a DIY kit from Avian Aqua Miser to use in my second chicken coop. I have also used them in my chicken tractor. As the pictures below show, I have also used them in my Catawba Brooder Coop.
These things solve a real problem. The water from typical waterers sold at the local Farm and Fleet needs to be changed every day because the chickens will poop in their water dish if it is physically possible to do so.
Using the bucket chicken waterer I made with the DIY kit, I am able to go about a week between filling the water bucket for my flock of about 11 full size chickens.
